Sing! Zoe! Sing!

Last Thursday when we had no school, it was may sister's graduation from pre-k! Zoe, my sister had to sing 4 songs. Two were in her first class and two were in her second class.

First class: Ms. Gwen and Ms. Jackie: "I Don't Wanna Work I Just Want To Bang On my Drums All Day" and "Great DJ".

Second class: Ms. Jessica and Mr. Frankie: "Three Little Birds" and "Jump on The Line".

"Click!" "Click!" "Click!" "Roll!" People were taking pictures and recording. It was all too MUCH!

Pool Basketball- A poem

I was in a pool as bright as the summer sky, or a blue crayon,
the grown-up man had installed a basketball hoop,
pumped air into the basketball,
hung the hoop.
All that was left for me was to shoot the basketball into the net or
be left cold by the breeze. Kids made baskets and kept making more.
I had chosen to shoot hoops. I want to get better.
I shot three to ten ,
I am getting good!!

My Poetry Book

Just yesterday I found an amazing book I had never seen. I decided it would turn out to be called, Jordyn's Book of Poetry!! I've written 5 poems in that book. I've also decided to make the whole book poems!!!!! So anybody can see it. Here is one of the poems I wrote.

Revised: Jaci and My Playdate

One day I had a play date with Jaci. I knew it was going lots of FUN!!!!! We were playing like um . . . 2 butterflies fluttering about together. We played the Littlest Pet Shop I owned, told Jaci all of the names, also told her that I owned a total of 13 pets, as soon as all of that happened footsteps were walking along the hallway . . . and . . . and . . . YAY!!! POPCORN! My Mom had brought POPCORN!! My favorite, Jaci and I played for a very long time until she had to leave. I thought it was really FUN!! We are like 2 peas in a pod.

Elk Information

Today I was at the Queens Zoo with my class, I was in the purple group. My group saw something at the same time.It was an animal called an elk. I learned one of it's adaptations is that it has a white butt. It has that kind of butt because that helps them move in a group. The other elk sees its butt and so they follow it in a group, just like my group! Only we don't have any white butts, at all, only if someone has white shorts or pants. I wonder if I will go to the Queens Zoo ever again?I probably will! But even if I do, I'll make sure it's really fun!! Of course!!

STUCK!!!!!!!!

Just guess who got stuck in a hole! MEEEEEE!!! Actually I was not the one. But seriously my sister, Zoe was THE one. I really think that SHE got stuck because:
1. She was the smallest out of 4 people.
2. There were 2 bigs, 1 med., and 1 tiny.
3. Um . . . Oh yeah! She was the smallest one!

POP!! STRETCH!! PHEW!! There's 1 leg with a sandal!!!!!! Now only 2 legs, but ONLY 1 sandal!!!!!! WELL, that's just big CHAOS!!!!!! "Dig, dig, dig, dig, DIG!! I thought, Just finding a tiny sandal in a BIG hole!!!" Wow that is ONE sandal tat has TONS, and TONS of sand!!!!!!!!!

Episode #6!!

The Dirty's Lawn: Today is the day to make ...Germ Adventure!! " The greatest comic book on EARTH!!!!" I shouted "Or at least in this area because there are no kids in my building." Really not even one big one. OK, back to the subject. GERMS! So you get the idea that this is called "The Dirty's Lawn" plus there's 3 new characters!! Before I introduce them to you I need to say something about this comic page.

1. The baby germs are 2 years old.

2. There are 3 new characters.

3. Well, that's all I got.

1. Ms. Dirty- The one that has a tie and looks like a boy.

2. Mr. Dirty- The one that has lipstick and a princess crown. Also known as the germ that looks like a girl.

3. Creepy Crawly - The snake and the one that is hanging from the rock-cicle, because it scared off all of the Dirty's.

Chinese Food

I was at my friend Emily's communion and when they served the food, thing about me is that I LOVE Chinese food!! " Yes! Yes!" My mom said after she heard the question. " YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!!" I said loudly. " Dad, Dad, Dad! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please take me to get food!!" "I'd like him to say YES!!!" I thought. "YES!!!" He answered. Noodles, rice, chicken with broccoli, boneless ribs, ANYTHING I could think of!!! "Well, I want EvErYtHiNg!!!!" "YES!!!" He answered again. When I got all of that food . . . I rapidly ate it and then I got DESSERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

''Thank you!!!'' I heard my Mom say loudly because it was loud. Now I'm going to say where my short little sister and I sat with my Mom and also my Dad, a gazebo. It's like four (4) sticks and a dome-shaped piece of wood is on top. It also has a BOTTOM!!!!!!!!! I'm kidding! A bottom is SOOOOOOO not EXCITING!!!!!!!!!! It took Zoe at least 10 minutes to eat & walk. After all she's only 4. I could eat & walk in only 15 seconds! I wold like to go to somewhere else. You know why? Answer: Because this post is making me HUNGRY! Is it making you hungry, too?

AHHHHHHHHHHH!

We were watching a 4-D movie called Planet Earth at the New York Aquarium. SPLASH !!!!! SPLASH!!!!! That's exactly what I heard in the middle of the movie. It was only a little tiny,tiny spray of water, whenever some type of whale blows his top, YOU WOULD GET SPRAYED BY WATER! ''Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't like it and I didn't wanna get wet!!!!!'' I whined (When I did that I felt like a BABY! I mean it!! I felt like a
B-A-B-Y!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) That was not my favorite movie.

Choices

I needed to get sneakers Saturday afternoon. So I went to Foot Locker to get them. What kind? White outside with black check Nike's and black laces (#1.) Or black outside and white check Nike's and blue laces (#2) Those were the only ones I liked. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! I LUV #1 so . . . . . '' I want the first one!'' I told my Dad I wanted the first one, so the man went to get my shoes. I tried them on and they fit perfectly. I love my choice!!!

Yummy!

I'm cooking on my pretend kitchen. Hey, what's that smell? I thought. It's disgusting! Kidding!! It was smelling delectable. It was smelling as good as a rose. I ran to see what caused that smell. Guess what it was! Sweet, delicious, yummy BROWNIES! They were in the oven. It was smooth and brown . '' Give it 5 minutes.'' My dad said. Zoe and I said, '' AWWWWWWWWW! We want them NOW! Please?'' We wanted to eat them sooooooooo badly.

Beautiful Flowers! : )

Zoe and I are botanists! We bought some flowers they're called Geraniums. They are bright, beautiful, pink flowers. White in the middle. We have to re plant them and they can keep growing again. We will put rocks at the bottom and get compost ( GARBAGE! ) Soon . . . . . . . . they will grow! But for now it's growing . . . Well sort of growing. They're out on the terrace and my job is to water them everyday.
P.S. We also have tomato plants that I am in charge of, too.

Training wheels are teachers but they're not alive. They teach you how to ride your bicycle. You won't fall at all if you have them. The wheel itself is the head so it should mean that it has no body, of course! Also the screws are eyes. If you want you could think it has a invisible body. Soon you'll be flying (only on the ground.)

BAD NIGHT!

ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ! Snore, snore!! ZZZZZ!! Snore, snore!! This is what I heard in the middle of the night as I was trying to sleep in the hotel at Coco Key. Iwas at the edge of the bed and Zoe was right on top squishing me. It was annoying and uncomfortable. Snore,snore,squish. She was snoring like she was breathing really loudly and then my Dad was snoring away also. The smartest in the room was my Mom because she brought her ear plugs. (She used to the snoring). She didn't even bother to ask me if I wanted ear plugs. How mean! The next time we go away I want to share a room with my Mom and Zoe can sleep with my dad! Snore, snore,squish!!

The Big Hill

Pedal, pedal, PUSH! Going up the hill. Very, very, very, very, VERY tiring. Going up. SLIDE down. Going up sliding and sliding down. Again and again. Pedal,pedal, PUSH! Going up the hill very, very, very, very, VERY tiring. Going up. SLIDE down. Going up and sliding down. Again and again. On my bike I am riding and I get to the top. I am taking a break! Soon . . . wheeeee! Down the hill I go! Very fun instead of very tiring!

Deal or No Deal

At CoCoKey upstairs from the water park there is a arcade with games as fun as a roller coaster that's going upside down! There is a game called Deal or No Deal just like the TV show. Regular deal: 1 swipe. Or double deal: 3 swipes? Double deal! 1 ,2 ,3 . '' Let's play DEAL OR NO DEAL!'' The game said. ''Begin!'' The last time the offer was 80 tickets. The more tickets you get the more prizes you can win. I took the offer ,pressed the DEAL button and soon I got my 80 tickets. It was time to open my personal case. I was lucky because I would've only gotten 4 tickets! Now for another adventure. Bring on more games!

SPLASH!

On the vacation we went to a water park(indoors) called CoCoKey.When you walked into the water park there was a huge play area with a big bucket of water above the playground. There was a bell that kept ringing and when it rang faster and faster . . .SPLASH! The big,big bucket of water splattered all of the front half of the park. Already I had gotten splashed by that dripping ,wet water 3x! Ding ,Dong ,Ding ,Dong ,SPLASH! SPLASH! SPLASH! Again and again. SPLOSH ,SPLASH! All day long. SPLOSH ,SPLASH! I thought there was too much chlorine and all the splashing and screaming 'cause they wanted to get wet and soggy was super annoying. SPLASH! Another annoying splash. SPLASH! Uh ,oh! SPLASH!

Dairy of a Wimpy Kid

My mom, Zoe, and I drove to Barnes & Noble to buy books for our long trip to Cape Cod. Our mom would buy us something for the road. At last! Finally a book to read.I wanted to get Diary of a Wimpy Kid. We looked in the back. Nothing there! Now in the front. Somewhere, but where? So we needed to ask a person who works at this book store. He pointed next to us and,oh! It was right there! I didn't see that at all. '' Big surprise. '' I mumbled quietly. Wow I did not see that. I thought, so then I decided that I would get #1 and #4 . Zoe decided to get an activity book. I read #1 and I started cracking up! It was so funny!

The Ferry Ride

Last Saturday afternoon I was going to Boston, Massachusetts. Right then I was wondering about it. My mom said, " To go to Boston we will take a ferry." WOW, a ferry! "What's a ferry?" I asked. "A ferry is a boat like a bus," my mom explained. So my sister, Zoe, my Mom, my grandma and my cousin and myself all went to get tickets. The grown ups decided to sit on top because my grandma didn't want to get nauseous and throw up. The ferry went slow and as it got further away from Cape Cod the faster it went. When it was really fast it was as fast as a bird hovering above the ferry. Soon my sister and I were sitting on our short little knees (especially Zoe). The gusty, cold wind blew our brown hair behind our round heads. "Jordyn!Jordyn! Open your mouth towards the wind," hailed Zoe. I could not hear her because the wind was so strong.I did what my crazy, little sister told me to do and sure enough the inside of my mouth was a cold as an ice cube.BRRRRRRRR! Very cold.

The Funny Book!

About last week when we were sharing our word work stories and when my friend,Jaci ended her story in her illustrations on the T.V. I saw something on the show that said ''Germ Adventure.''All of a sudden an idea popped right out of my head! We could make comic book called Germ Adventure!I thought.Jaci and I could make tons of Germ Adventures!I could tell Jaci about the comic book.Soon I told her,''That's a great idea!I bet it'll be as funny as real comic books!'' said excitedly ''I think we should make about ten episodes of them!Should we?''I asked. ''Sure and it should be really FUNNY!''She exclaimed.

Crazy Monkey!

We drove to the big,big city where the play The Lion King lives. The building was a little smaller than our school.Then we found our cushioned seats. As we were watching it a strange monkey named,Rafiki popped onto the stage from time to time.That litttle monkey would do something extremely comical and weird! Sometimes she would shake her fat behind at the audience,also Rafiki would swing on a fake vine,but she didn't make any monkey sounds.You guess what noises she made?! Well I'll tell you, instead of making ridiculous noises she was talking!Usually monkeys make weird noises.I think she is a very unusual monkey,I mean a talking monkey! After the show the woman who plays Rafiki is from South Africa. Her real name is Tshidi Manye and she was able to make some incredible noises. What a funny monkey!!

Bad Door!

Once I was going to the bathroom, I was running and ... BOOM!! I hit myself on the head. The door hit me in the bottom-right-hand corner, soon I started to cry. My mom came to see what all that crying was about. I said I hit my head on the door. She said to come and sit on the couch. When I held my mom's hand I stopped crying. She made me calmer and calmer. Once we moved on to the couch, the soft,black couch she said," I'll get some ice for you and your hurting head, OK?"Yes was my answer in a very low tone.That answer happened because that annoying door hurt sooooooooooooo bad.It was driving me CRAZY!(Vroom,vroom!)

Necklace Making

Yesterday I went to someones house and I got to make bead-necklaces!I made one for my American Girl doll, rainbow beads and red string.Also the one for me was a bright,blue,bouncing necklace with beautiful,bright violet-purple string.Since my doll's name was Baby Dave I decided to find the right letters for Dave,just Dave.Since my name was 6 letters long it was just J instead.When I was done it was time to move on down to the next activity.It was fun making necklaces for my doll and I,SUPER FUN!

Choosing my Colors for my Blog

Yesterday I decided I would like a blog for all my journals. We had to choose the colors for the text,title,the date,and more!I had to choose black for the text so I'd see it.The text would be visible to every-one.The title I decided to be like a light purple. And I'm forgetting what color was for the date and I'm also talking to my brain for a weird reason.Well I think it was also black,(the date.)After I was done with my choices I took only one look and I thought it was as beautiful as a rainbow.And you can also see it!

Zoe's Painted Angel

Today my whole family and I were invited to the temple Skylar goes to.There they had a carnival for Purim,a Jewish holiday.They had a stand which was for face-painting.My sister,Zoe wanted to have a painted face.She chose a beautiful,white angel.So a girl made a face and a halo,(the ring on top of her head )right on her fore-head.After she painted the halo and face the legs went on the nose,the white-ish,gray-ish were near Zoe' cheeks.When the girl was finally done her angel looked like a long,thin non-fluffy,white cloud.Zoe really liked the angel on her face! My family had a fun time at the Purim carnival with Skylar and her family.
